Thanks for the response,
I am using windows 7 and the latest version of real player 11. I have been able to download 100's of shows up until yesterday. I open the page in Real Player browser window and it will not play and the "Download Clip" button does not pop up anymore. I even tried clicking "prefer flash" button but nothing. I have no problem playing the stream from the archive webpage but am unable to download it. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

are you using the VBR M3U(Hi-Fi) as the "location" link for streaming?

That link has never worked for me and I don't really know what it is. When I click that it opens the show in Windows Media Player. From there I can't figure out how to download the show.
Right now, if you choose a show from archive, and open Real Player and paste the url into RP, Can you listen, stream, or download the music. It is like everything dies when I try to play a show through RP. I can't even stream the show through RP.

Not that it may be any of my business, but I wonder… You use the term ‘download’, while I believe Jeff is referring to streaming. I don’t use RealPlayer, but have no problems downloading or streaming from archive on a windows 7 platform utilizing the normal methods available on the page.

You may already be aware of this, but any show that is stream only is that way for a reason. It isn’t supposed to be downloadable.

good point. if gr8Phil1972 is referring to downloading actual files of shows that are streaming only then you're correct. end of thread. in internet archive lexicon streaming a file is the same as actually downloading the file to your computer. we consider either a "download".

in Windows7:
1. i clicked the M3U link and WMP automatically opened and stated to play
2. i downloaded the latest RealPlayer (v16), downloaded the M3U to my Desktop and draged the file into "Now Playing" window and it began playing.
